Why I do what I do at Elevate: I desire to share the word of Jesus because I never want what happened in Judges 2:10 to happen again. “and there arose another generation after them who did not know the Lord or work that He had done for Israel.” Rob is the founding church planter in the fall of 2021. He graduated from Johnson University in 2014 with a B.S. in Preaching and Student Ministry. Formerly Rob was the Student Minister of Catalyst Christian Church.

Favorite Scripture: “preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.” (1 Tim. 4:2)

Hobby: I like to pretend I am a professional golfer.

Why I do what I do at Elevate: I model life after the great commission; preach to many, train a few, and love them all. Andrew co-founded Elevate with Rob in 2021. He graduated from Johnson University in 2012 with a B.A. in Preaching and Student Ministry and has recently received an M.A. in New Testament Studies also from Johnson University. Formerly Andrew was the Student minister at Jessamine Christian Church and the Family Minister of Westside Christian Church.

Favorite Scripture: John 10:10 – “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it to the fullest.”

Favorite Restaurant: Chuy’s, but any Mexican restaurant will do!

Why I do what I do at Elevate: I do worship ministry because I fully believe that the Lord is worthy of our praises no matter what and I am humbled and honored to be a leader in worship and helping others refocus on what matters, which is Jesus and all that He has done for us – his example for how we live and treat others, as well as his sacrifice for us so that we can be in perfect fellowship with Him forever. I also believe that worship can be used as a weapon against attacks from the enemy and since the tongue has the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), “My tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praises all day long (Psalms 35:28).”

Favorite Scripture: I’ve always loved Matthew 6 “Do not Worry” verses. I go back there time and time again for a reminder.

Favorite Restaurant: I can not possibly commit to one favorite! I love that Lexington has endless options to choose from and that I can always try something new. I love Brevede Coffee, First Watch, Frank and Dino’s, Malone’s, Blue door Smoke House and more!

Hobby: I love coffee! Visiting local coffee shops in different places is one of my favorite things to do. I also love to travel, go hiking, sing, and write.

Why I do what I do at Elevate: I love to connect with people and help behind the scenes. Being on staff also allows me to have deep conversations about the Bible more often, which I truly enjoy.
