Why I do what I do at Elevate: I do worship ministry because I fully believe that the Lord is worthy of our praises no matter what and I am humbled and honored to be a leader in worship and helping others refocus on what matters, which is Jesus and all that He has done for us – his example for how we live and treat others, as well as his sacrifice for us so that we can be in perfect fellowship with Him forever. I also believe that worship can be used as a weapon against attacks from the enemy and since the tongue has the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), “My tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praises all day long (Psalms 35:28).”
